Activ Energy Validates nanoActiv® across four levels: lab, field validation, cohort, and basin. We publish only claims supported at the cohort or basin level.
VALIDATION FRAMEWORK
Four levels of proof.
No claim moves up to commercial use until the level below it is established. This is what ‘measured, not marketed’ means in practice.
LEVEL 1
Lab validation
Contact-angle measurement, core imbibition, dispersion stability in formation water. Performed at Nissan Chemical research facilities and validated by Activ technical team.
LEVEL 2
Field validation
First production response under controlled conditions. Establishes that what works in the lab works downhole.
LEVEL 3
Cohort-level proof
Treated wells benchmarked against third-party-data cohort of offset comparables. Establishes uplift is repeatable, not single-well luck.
LEVEL 4
Basin-level proof
Cohort proof extends across multiple operators in the basin. This is the level at which Activ commits to basin-wide commercial claims.
