The distinction matters because the mechanism, the application, and the economic claim are all different from the chemistries the industry has tried before.

WHAT IT IS

An engineered nanoparticle dispersion 

  • 12-15nm particles in stable aqueous carrier.
  • Sized below typical reservoir pore throats.
  • Brownian motion and diffusion drive wedge film at the rock-oil contact (disjoining pressure).
  • The wedge film lifts hydrocarbons off the rock and shifts wettability in place.
  • Dosed into existing completion fluid. No new pumping schedule.

WHAT IT ISN’T

Not a surfactant or generic additive

  • Not a micelle-forming surfactant (too large for most pore throats).
  • Not a friction reducer, not a scale inhibitor
  • Not commodity chemistry. Engineered and QC-released per lot. 
  • Not a one-size-fits-all formulation.
